The Café
Specialty coffee & matcha, District 3. The kind that earns a regular.
Come for the slow morning, stay past lunch — nobody's rushing the table. Vietnam Highlands, roasted to an Australian standard. Ito En matcha, stone-ground, from Uji. Through the gate at 218c Pasteur, past the bougainvillea, across the encaustic tile, a 12-minute walk from Tao Đàn Park. From 07:30.
The Coffee
Vietnam Highlands beans. Done properly.
Order alone or bring the whole table — the same counter pours a solo flat white and a six-person catch-up. Vietnam Highlands beans, roasted the way they should be. The milk temperature matters. Which is why the flat white is hot only. Latte, cappuccino, Americano. The Vietnamese classics: Cà Phê Sữa Đá, Bạc Xỉu, Iced Salted Coffee, Iced Coconut Coffee. Espresso Tonic on the list. Cold Brew slow-steeped in house.
The Affogato runs three directions: coffee, matcha, or with rượu espresso. That's the Naughty Affogato. Same counter.

The Matcha Programme
Ito En. Uji, Kyoto. Six variations.
Stone-ground. Not a flavoured powder. The same Ito En matcha runs through every drink on this list and into the Matcha Affogato. Oat milk on request. The drink for the long morning that doesn't want to end.

The Kitchen
Smalls. Snacks. Things worth eating.
A rotating menu of small plates built around what's in season. Nothing unnecessary. Food that earns its place alongside whatever you're drinking. Designed for a long café morning, or to carry you through into the evening. Same kitchen, all day.
For private hire and events, we work with select Saigon caterers to extend beyond the daily menu. Reach us at info@tempohouse.com.vn for details.

The Space
Good WiFi. Natural light. TEMPO's third place by day.
The building is from the 1930s. The plaster cornicing, the four-metre ceilings, the encaustic tile floor. None of it was specified for the café. It was already there. Morning light comes in through the colonial windows and holds until mid-afternoon without any help from us. The current show hangs one floor up — tell your barista and we'll arrange a viewing.
Club sofas by the window, dining chairs at the counter, the Garden out back — a solo laptop morning and a long catch-up with an old friend happen three tables apart, by design, not by accident. WFH-friendly without performing it: good WiFi, power points, a noise floor that lets you think. No time limit.
