The garden courtyard on Pasteur Street is the largest space in the building. It’s yours.
The Garden on Pasteur Street are our largest footprint — 120 standing, or 70 for a proper outdoor dinner, and from 80 at king tables. Combined with the Villa and its bar, you have a venue that feels open and social without losing the warmth of the interior. For engagements, it's the format that feels like a party rather than a function.

An engagement party at TEMPO can start outdoors and move in, or spread across all three spaces at once. The Garden is the venue's largest footprint — 120 standing — with the Villa connecting directly. EM Gallery adds a third space — toast beside the current rotating exhibition, reserved for your guests by appointment — for a different mood or a quieter corner as the evening goes on.

The Garden is a proper event space
Not a side terrace. Not an overflow area. The Garden is the building's largest space at 138 m² — and they connect directly to the bar in the Villa. 120 standing under the Saigon sky is a genuine celebration format.

TEMPO House also hosts weddings from 60 to 260 guests. Couples who hold their engagement here often come back for the wedding. You can see exactly what the building looks like before any decisions are made.

Pasteur Street in the evening is one of Saigon’s best-kept secrets. The neighbourhood energy becomes part of the party — without you managing it. Guests arrive, the street is alive, and the evening starts before anyone has a drink in hand.

EM Gallery sits one floor above the party, reserved for your guests by appointment. Step up to toast beside the current show for a quieter photo moment, or move the celebration indoors as the evening goes on.

What happens if it rains?
The Garden has partial shade coverage. For evening events in wet season (May–October), we always prepare a contingency indoor layout — the Villa and EM Gallery can accommodate the full guest count under cover. We monitor conditions in the lead-up to the event and advise accordingly.
Can we hold the engagement party and wedding at TEMPO?
Yes. Many couples use the engagement party as a chance to preview the space for their wedding. We can arrange a site visit after the event to walk through wedding configurations. There’s no obligation — but couples often find it makes the decision easier.
Can we arrange a surprise engagement party?
Yes. We’ve hosted surprise engagements and surprise announcement parties. Note it as a surprise in your enquiry so we can brief the venue team — we’ll co-ordinate arrival timing and setup with care. The Garden is particularly effective for a surprise reveal.
Can TEMPO House accommodate a traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony (lễ ăn hỏi) alongside the cocktail reception?
Yes. Many families hold the lễ ăn hỏi indoors — EM Gallery or the Villa both work for the tea ritual and the gift-tray procession, and the Villa has room for the ancestral altar (bàn thờ gia tiên) — before moving out to the wider cocktail reception. Tell us the day's sequence in your enquiry and we'll allocate the spaces around it.
