Weddings — Event 05
Not a ballroom. A building with a different idea of your day.
TEMPO House hosts weddings from 60 to 260 guests. The whole building — the Villa, the Garden and EM Gallery — under exclusive hire. A 1930s French-colonial events villa in the heart of District 3. Your wedding doesn't have to look like every other Saigon hotel wedding.

What’s Included
The whole building. One day. All yours.
Full venue hire combines EM Gallery, the bar in the Villa, and the Garden. Morning starts in TEMPO's slow tempo — hair, makeup, coffee under gallery light. Ceremony in EM Gallery with the gallery as backdrop. By cocktail hour the room shifts into cheeky happy-hour energy; after dark, the reception becomes a full AFTER DARK night — live music or a DJ set, just for your guests. Different rooms, different moments, same address — and one goal: your two families end up talking to each other, not managing an event. Our coordinator handles the transitions so the day runs without you noticing.
- Full building hire — EM Gallery, the Villa, the Garden
- Ceremony space with gallery backdrop in EM Gallery
- Cocktail reception in the Villa or the Garden

Wedding Capacity
Full Venue — All Three Floors
Three rooms. One building. Your wedding.
A typical TEMPO wedding runs across three spaces: EM Gallery for the ceremony (gallery walls, track lighting, open floor), the bar in the Villa for the cocktail reception (full bar open, the Garden flowing to Pasteur Street), and both floors for the seated dinner. Each room has a distinct character. Each transition marks a moment in the day.
- EM Gallery — ceremony space for 50–55 guests, theatre-style
- The Villa — cocktail reception, full bar service
- Garden — Pasteur Street frontage, arrival drinks
- All floors under exclusive hire for the full day
- 1930s French-colonial architecture throughout
- Natural light on both floors — no artificial backdrop needed
Wedding Day Flow
The shape of a TEMPO wedding.
A full-day hire across three spaces allows the wedding to move — ceremony, reception, and dinner each occupy a different room with a different feel. The building tells the story of the day.

01
The venue has character the ballroom doesn’t
Married in front of a live, rotating exhibition from Vietnamese and regional artists — a working gallery, not a stock backdrop. No two 1930s villas look the same. The original arch and Pasteur Street frontage give the day a setting that photographs as a place — not a function room with flowers.
02
Sixty guests or two hundred and sixty — the villa is still only yours
Mass-market wedding venues run several weddings a day. TEMPO runs one. Sixty guests or two hundred and sixty, you have the whole villa — no shared entrance, no next seating, nobody else’s name in the corridor. The range is not a constraint, it’s the format the building suits best. Every guest is close to the action.
03
District 3 is the right neighbourhood
Your guests are already in Saigon’s most interesting neighbourhood. After the wedding, the evening continues on Pasteur Street without anyone having to go anywhere.
Questions
Wedding questions answered.
Is TEMPO House licensed for wedding ceremonies?
TEMPO House is available for both ceremony and reception hire. For the legal marriage registration in Vietnam, your registrar or officiant handles the legal paperwork separately. We provide the setting — you bring the ceremony you want.
What is the booking timeline for weddings?
Peak wedding season in HCMC runs October through January (avoiding Ghost Month in August). We recommend enquiring 3–6 months ahead for weekend dates in this window. Weekday weddings and off-peak dates are available with shorter lead times.
Can we arrange a site visit before booking?
Yes. We recommend a site visit for wedding enquiries so you can see how the floors connect and how the day would flow. Note this in your enquiry and we’ll arrange a time.
Do you have a preferred florist or wedding stylist?
We have a network of HCMC florists and event stylists who know the space and work well with the building’s aesthetic. We’ll share the list as part of your proposal. You can use our partners or bring your own — both work.
Can we include a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony (lễ gia tiên)?
Yes. EM Gallery or the Villa can host the lễ gia tiên at the ancestral altar with your parents ahead of the reception. If you add our event coordinator, they fit it into the day's timeline so it flows straight into the reception.
